CPS Sponsor Layton Juniors Football Club
August 2011
Layton Juniors Football Club rely heavily on sponsorship and support from local companies and the local council. Having a kit for a child means they are part of a team, an identity and belonging, it also stops any prejudice of professional football teams they may support, they are as one.

To the club it takes huge financial pressure away, the more sponsorship they get, they can pass on to the parents by not increasing subscriptions, therefore money can be spent elsewhere improving facilities and purchasing equipment.

CPS are proud to be a sponsor and help contribute and support to the local Blackpool community.

This year's annual HERO awards, celebrating the great achievements in enterprise amongst our young people will take place on Thursday 30th June 2011. CPS have worked together with the project in the past, however, this year we will be sponsoring the 'Most Enterprising Student' award.

HERO is a community interest company that has been working with young people in Blackpool for the last 4 years. Each year, HERO hosts an awards scheme and ceremony to celebrate the achievements of young people in enterprise. This year the ceremony will take place on Thursday 30th June. Through work with schools, employers and other organisations, the HERO project helps develop employability skills, and raise aspirations in young people. We work to help develop a young generation of entrepreneurial young people who would be an asset to any company. The award ceremony itself offers some great speakers and inspirational stories.

For those who have attended in previous years they promise the usual great mix of celebration and inspiration and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever!
